The Single Acting Pneumatic Rotary Cylinder is designed in one piece with the same cylinder and end caps, making it easy to change the way it is done by adding springs or removing springs. Multi-function position indicator, on-site visual indication, in line with VID/VIE3845, NAMUR standard slot, can install and output all accessories, such as limit switch box, electric positioner, position sensor.

Advantages

The design of the double-piston symmetrical structure of the rack and pinion has fast and stable action, high precision and large output power. It can be rotated in the opposite direction by simply changing the assembly position of the piston.

Single Acting Pneumatic Rotary Cylinder uses extruded high-quality aluminum alloy cylinders with hard anodized precision-machined bores and external surfaces for longer life and low coefficient of friction.

Operation

When the air supply pressure from the air inlet (2) into the cylinder between the pistons in the chamber, the two cylinder pistons move, forcing both ends of the spring compressed, air discharge through the air inlet (4), simultaneously driving the pistons to turn the shaft counter clockwise rotation. After the air supply direction is changed by solenoid valve, the springs push the pistons to move to the center and the air in the middle cylinder discharge from inlet (2), while simultaneously driving the shaft clockwise rotation. (If install the pistons adversely, the shaft will rotate oppositely, that is the reverse type of single acting model.)
