Product Introduction
This is Autorun's pneumatic wafer metal-seated butterfly valve, often used in steam lines, thermal oil systems, and flue gas circuits where temperatures go too high for soft-seated valves.
The body and disc are usually made of WCB or 304 stainless steel, with a hard-faced seat-typically stellite or cobalt alloy-to handle repeated heat cycles without leaking. The actuator is a standard double-acting aluminum unit, sized for the torque of the metal-seated disc. It's a wafer design, so it's clamped between two standard flanges.
Most of these we've sold go to refinery auxiliary lines and power plant secondary loops. They're hydrostatically tested at 1.5x rated pressure, and the seat is checked for bubble-tight shut-off at the factory. In the field, the main thing users need to watch for is stem packing wear; we usually suggest a quick check every six months, especially if the line has any slight vibration.
